A Model SolutionTrans-regional internship programs tend to be high in cost because of travel and accommodation expenses, and once programs are completed, it is difficult to continue mentoring. Clearly, internship opportunities should be provided by qualified institutions within regions, but these institutions can be costly to maintain. The Southeast Asian Consortium for Access and Preservation (SEACAP) hopes that at least once preservation center of excellence will be established in each member Southeast Asian country. |
