A Model Solution
Trans-regional internship programs tend to be high in cost because of travel
and accommodation expenses, and once programs are completed, it is difficult
to continue mentoring. Clearly, internship opportunities should be provided
by qualified institutions within regions, but these institutions can be costly
to maintain.
The Southeast Asian Consortium for Access and Preservation (SEACAP) hopes that
at least once preservation center of excellence will be established in each
member Southeast Asian country.
